Ali teaches primarily English , in addition to specific fields in English Language; ESP (English for special purposes), EAP (English for Academic Purposes) and other individual skills such as writing, reading, listening, speaking, communication skills, grammar, translation and phonetics and phonology, accents and pronunciation, linguistics and others.

Are you interested in having Ali as your teacher of English? Then take into consideration the follwing points


First this step

A placement test, that might be followed by an interview in English, is necessary to determine what level of English you are. If you are not familiar with Placement Tests, take a look at the Tests & Exercises page.


After your level of English is specified, you can take a look at the follwing options.

Option One: ONE-TO-ONE TUTORING

Ali can do one-to-one tutoring. A quiet place is needed with basic learning equipment, a desk, chairs, a board (if possible), an air-conditioner and a computer (if possible)

Ali usually charges per session. For further details, contact Ali to discuss that.

There is a coursebook to be used, in which case you (the student) should purchase a copy of. But Ali will provide extra materials such as photocopiable sheets, extra listening, video, and illustration equipment.

At the same time, other students might join the course later if they are the same level as you.

Option Two: FORMAL CLASS

Ali can guide you to the place where he is working now so you can join a class your level there. This option is preferred because it provides a better learning environment. You can interact with other learners of English and learn from them the same way they can learn from you.


Most of Ali's classes contain no more than 9-10 students. Ali has already got all the equipment ready for the class including the most up-to-date technology of big TV screens, computer labs and sound recording and filming equipment.

Option Three: COMPANIES AND BUSINESSES

If you are a company and not an individual, Ali can arrange coming to your headquarters or offices to teach. All that is needed is a hall with adequate capacity, air-conditioning, whiteboard, a computer with speakers. A TV set would be preferred if you could provide one.


If you are the company's manager or the HR or Development manager, you need to know that all students should take the placement test so that they can be arranged into groups of the same level. The company should provide the course books, but the title is suggested by the instructor in most cases.

Are there coursebooks?

Most of the time, yes. Ali always provides extra practice and teaching material that is added regularly to the course. At the same time, a coursebook is a must in preparation for exams and certificates.

*Ali provides SAT, ACT, GRE and GMAT exams teaching for the langauge section only, in addition to the reasoning skills.
